About Us

WV Prayer Alliance exists to mobilize regional and statewide prayer, unity and equipping events, preparing the body of Christ in WV for Awakening.

Following the blessing of God on the 55 Strong in Prayer unity gathering on September 29, 2018, in Charleston WV, we developed 10 regional networks of churches and prayer groups, connecting every county of WV. These regional prayer networks are praying together to see what God desires to accomplish through them together in a region. We believe that the Church is better together.

We believe that Awakening is coming to West Virginia, and it will not be contained by one church, one county or one region of the state.  We are cultivating regional prayer because we believe that Awakening is preceded by and sustained through prayer.

We are developing initiatives to help any Christian, congregation or prayer group in WV, who desires to prepare for awakening and harvest, to have the resources to do so.

What Unifies Us:

  • Jesus:  Our love for Jesus and His Kingdom is the primary thing that unifies us.

  • A Kingdom Mindset:   While we value our individual local churches, denominations, faith traditions  and ministries, we unite with believers different from us and seek the blessings of God for all of the Body of Christ.  God loves all of His Church and He blesses unity!

  • Prayer:  We understand that while prayer is not the only thing a believer should do, it should be the central thing--the place from which all other activities flow.

  • Revival:  We desire to see Biblical, historical revival/spiritual awakening sweep our communities, so we pray and prepare for that end.

WV Prayer Alliance is a ministry of the Appalachian Prayer Center.  The vision for this partnership is to have unified prayer across the state of WV and also with the remaining States in Appalachia.

Regional Leaders

So much of what makes the WV Prayer Alliance happen comes from the leaders in each region who work continuously to unite the churches in their communities in unifying prayer.
